It has been a beautiful day here in Eau Claire! Currently we have temperatures in the lower 60's and a light south wind. The skies are mostly clear, but the clouds we have seen appear to be cirrus. The sunny skies and lower wind speeds are due to the large dome of high pressure that is currently sitting over most of the upper Midwest. With the south winds we are experiencing, it will help to bring warmer temperatures to the region as we move into Tuesday. It will also bring in more moist air which will help to fuel the storms that we are predicted to see Tuesday evening.
